NATHAN MEYERS
Nathan started dancing at the age of 11.
His family was a very sporty and active family, involved in Baseball, Football, Tennis, and Basketball.
Nathan’s Mum studied with the Australian Ballet School.
Nathan found a great passion for dancing, and by the age of 14 was an Australian finalist. By the age of 18, he decided to take his dancing Internationally and became a world finalist. The following year he had a world ranking of 3rd in the world in the Under 21 youth Latin division.
Nathan decided to move overseas to further his skills and knowledge, living in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Italy.
In 2009, he returned home to Australia which is when he commenced his partnership with Meagen. Together they achieved Australian Professional Champions, professional rising star finalist in 3 major World International championships. And quarter-finalist in the World Professional Championships. Nathan is a qualified Coach under DanceSport Australia and the co-founder of The DanceSport Lab alongside Meagen.
MEAGEN ALDERTON
Meagen started ballroom dancing at the Age of 10 years old. It was always a strong passion for her and from a very young age she always knew she wanted to make Dance her career. At 15 she was an Australian Finalist and by the age of 23 she had made the World Amatuer 10 Dance final and 2 years later was a World Professional ten dance finalists.
In 2007 she took a year out of the competition scene to travel the world performing on a cruise ship with her now husband. They were special guest artists in a feature show called Ballroom Bravo on the 6 star cruise line Regent Seven Seas.
After 12 months travel, Meagen returned back to Melbourne and started to dance with Nathan. After a short time dancing together they started to make their mark on the World circuit in the Professional Latin category. They were Professional Rising Star Champions in the 3 Major World Compeitions. In 2013 they went on to become Australian Professional Latin Champions. They worked and studied with the Worlds best coaches and mentors and spent much of their time abroad competing and training amongst the Worlds best.
Meagen is now a qualified coach and adjudicator under DanceSport Australia and continues her success through the growth and development of her students in The DanceSport Lab.
ANNA LONGMORE
Anna was the undefeated Australian Closed Champion winning the title an unprecedented 7 times from 2001 till 2007. She also won The Australian Open Championship 3 times in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
In December 2008 Anna turned Professional and was successful in winning the Professional Australian Championships from 2008 till 2011.
These achievements earned her the right to represent Australia at 9 World Championships.In 2003 Anna moved overseas to learn from the World’s leading coaches in London and compete amongst the World’s best dancers. Anna is a former World, British Open, International, United Kingdom semi-finalist and World Cup finalist.

In 2011 and 2012 Anna was invited to represent Australia in the Invitational Team’s Match at the British Championships in Blackpool. This was the first time an Australian Couple had been included in this event.Anna is an Australian National Championships Adjudicator and WDC International Adjudicator.
OLGA SHNIAKINA
​Olga started Ballroom and Latin American dancing at five in Russia and fell in love with it because it was ‘cool’. The early years started with her mastering the basics before she got her first partner at the age of 8. As well as social dancing, she participated in festivals to get used to performing. At the age of 15 Olga started dancing with Alex, for whom she would compete around the world for the next 15 years.
Her major achievements include 10th place in the European Championships, 3rd in the UK 10 Dance Championships, 3rd in the World Championship American show dance. Dancing is Olga’s passion, and she comes to Australia to continue to coach and continue her competitive career with DK pro Leighton Stevenson.
